NIOS Courses
Ignited Minds supports children with special needs in accessing NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) courses — nationally recognised academic qualifications delivered through a flexible, self-paced model that meets every learner exactly where they are.
What is NIOS?
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a national board of education in India that provides a flexible, open learning system for students who cannot follow a conventional school path. For children with special needs, NIOS offers special provisions and accommodations unavailable in mainstream boards.
Why NIOS for Special Needs Learners?
NIOS allows children to study at their own pace, choose subjects suited to their abilities, and sit exams with special provisions — including a scribe, extra time, and question paper modifications. This removes many of the barriers that prevent children with special needs from achieving formal academic qualifications.
How We Support You
Our specialists provide individualised academic support, exam preparation, and guidance on subject selection. We assist families with the NIOS application process, help navigate special provisions for students with disabilities, and work alongside children to build the academic skills they need for their chosen subjects.
Pathways It Opens
A NIOS qualification opens doors to further education, vocational training, and employment. It is a recognised stepping stone toward greater independence and adult life — and we are proud to support every child in achieving their academic potential, regardless of their starting point.
